Comparison

Fri Nov 10, 2006, 9:04 PM
How could anyone compare
This thing that we have
To something that they have?
Comparison:
It's something that you do to compete
To compete with others is
Something that you do to beat them
But how could anyone ever
Want to beat something so special?
This is something no one else
Could ever have or replace
You might ask
"How is it that we can,
But they cant?"
But the answer is so simple
That you would never think of it:
We want it; it's ours to have
And ours to enjoy and love
It is a possibility
That no one ever saw
And we chose to have it
Forever and always
I said: "I need you"
You said: "I'll help you"
And so it began,
Only then to end
Resolution isn't a choice
Not now not ever
How is it possible
That something so special
Could end
Just like that, so painless
And yet so painful?

Thanks for the comments. I do sing (or try to), I just don't play guitar...so rhythms are hard to make, I go by drum beats. If I get a demo of it anytime soon, I'll let you know.

Cheers,
Rob
